The remains of veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, have been laid to rest in his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State.

Hassan was buried on Monday amid tears and tributes from family members, colleagues, friends, and residents who gathered to bid farewell to the veteran actor.

The burial had veterans like Yinka Quadri, Jide Kosoko, Fausat Balogun, Toyosi Adesanya, Femi Adebayo, and others who gathered to mourn their longtime colleague and friend.

PUNCH Online had earlier reported that Hassan died on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 66, after battling stage-four cancer.
